Some of the Best Neighborhood Parks in Austin Live Inside Mueller

Mueller is one of the nation’s most sustainable master-planned communities with 140 acres of active and passive parks and open spaces. That’s about twenty percent of the neighborhood that is reserved for parks and green spaces.

An “active park” is a park that has one or more sporting fields or has physical activity as a primary purpose.

A passive park, on the other hand, typically describes open spaces that don’t have playscapes or facilities and sporting areas, but feature more natural, native plant and vegetation/nature aspects and/or seating, gardens, trails, and picnic amenities.
